Abstract

This paper is a research progress report on the investigations of student blended learning perceptions and experiences in an accounting sub-degree programme at a local Community College. The study aims to find out sub-degree students’ perceived benefits of learning online and how they experienced and evaluated their own studies in the “Business Information System” (BIS) module using the mixed learning mode of classroom and online learning. A pilot study comprises focus group interviews and a paper questionnaire to all BIS students has been conducted in late 2011, while several individual student interviews will be conducted this year.
